Fans of Shiro Kashiba were thrilled when he came out of a brief retirement to open his namesake restaurant in a small, spotless, simply elegant Belltown storefront. For those who don`t know, Kashiba owned the popular Nikko restaurant for over 20 years before moving and selling it to the Westin Hotel, where he continued to preside for another year before "retiring." Many claim that Shiro`s serves the freshest fish, and the sushi is a definite draw. Other tasty entrees include teriyaki, sukiyaki, and tempura.
Visiting Shiro`s, you`ll find a place that offers guests a Japanese cuisine known for their seafood and sushi.
